STIV Section on Space Garden – Now Live

We are pleased to announce a major milestone of the STIV project: the launch of the STIV section on the Space Garden platform. This section represents a concrete result of months of collaboration, research, and development carried out within the project, and offers users the opportunity to explore, test, and interact with digital tools designed to support sustainable agriculture.

The STIV section provides access to agricultural and environmental data across Serbia, Italy, Spain, and France, allowing users to analyse different locations and compare conditions between regions.

Key functionalities:

Soil
Users can explore elevation maps and access soil-related data by selecting any point on the map. This functionality supports better understanding of terrain and soil characteristics at a local level.

Satellite imagery (NDVI)
The platform includes satellite-derived NDVI indices, enabling users to observe vegetation dynamics and assess crop health across different regions and time periods.

Climate
For selected location, users can view temperature, precipitation, and solar radiation, available across different temporal intervals. This supports climate-aware analysis and scenario exploration.

Yield prediction
A dedicated feature for grapes allows users to select a location and year to view predicted grape yields. Users can further adjust climate and soil-related parameters and observe how these changes influence model predictions, supporting a deeper understanding of yield dynamics.

Why register?

The STIV section on Space Garden offers a hands-on opportunity to explore real data, test scenarios, and engage with the results of the STIV project in practice. It is designed for students, educators, professionals, and all stakeholders interested in sustainability, digital innovation, and data-driven agriculture.
